On Chinese dining tables, the superiority and versatility of chopsticks are obvious. It can be said that chopsticks play all the important roles on the dining table except that of the scooping soup.
Every August 4th is Japan’s Chopsticks Festival;
every November 11th is South Korea’s Chopsticks Festival. We Chinese should also have our own Chopsticks Festival. M16 Workshop advocates for “cultural practice of one hundred million pairs of chopsticks,” guiding everyone to experience the handmade process of making a pair of chopsticks through woodworking.
